In November 2017, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of uncoated copier paper from Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. In December 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In May 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in March 2022. Sunset review investigation was not initiated on imports from Thailand.
