In October 2017, the Brazilian authorities initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain grinding bodies in cast iron and/or chrome-alloyed steel from India. In April 2019, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2024, a sunset review was initiated, and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2025.
