On 23 December 2017, the Economic Coordination Committee of Pakistan approved an export quota of 300,000 tons of urea. The exports under the quota have to be fulfilled until 28 April 2017.
On 16 May 2017, an export quota of another 300,000 tons was approved and the deadline was extended until 31 October 2017.
