In July 2017, the members of the Eurasian Economic Union decided to add lacquer and paint for the production of leather goods as a distinctive customs number in the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union and to temporarliy suspend existing import tariffs.
