China: New support policy for Chinese SMEs: tax breaks, loans and reduced fees

September 1st, 2017 - The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publishes a complete revision to a 2002 law 'On the Promotion of Chinese SMEs'. The new iteration explicitly calls for tax breaks, 'special funds' and 'monetary policy tools', amongst other means, to promote the growth of SMEs across China. It also brings 'micro-enterprises' to the table, referencing not just SMEs, but also MSEs (micro-small enterprises).
