In August 2017, the Colombian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Bureau of Foreign Trade initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of denim fabrics and other woven fabrics of cotton from China. A provisional duty was imposed in November 2017. In August 2018, a definitive duty was imposed.
