In April 2017, the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of seamless pipes and tubes of iron or steel of a kind used for oil or gas pipelines and drilling, of circular cross-section, of an external diameter not exceeding 16 inches (406.4 mm) from China. In November 2018, the investigation was terminated without the imposition of definitive duties.
