In July 2010, the Indian authorities initiated a sunset review of the definitive antidumping duty imposed on imports of sodium nitrite from China and the duty was extended in August 2011. In July 2016 a sunset review was initiated and in August 2017 the duty was extended. In August 2022, the definitive duty expired.
