Argentina: New regime for imports of used oilfield equipment

Announcement

10 Aug 2017

The Argentine Government approved the reduction of import taxes on used oilfield equipment to promote investments in Vaca Muerta's oilfield. However, in cases where the local industry produces similar equipment, the importer will have to purchase locally produced goods worth a concrete percentage of the value of the imported equipment.
