In August 2017, the Ukrainian authorities initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of sulfuric acid and oleum. In September 2018, a definitive safeguard duty was imposed. In August 2021, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2021.
