Sri Lanka: Import levy further decreased on broken rice imports

The Sri Lankan government reduced the Special Commodity Levy on the imports of broken rice from Rs. 5 per kg. to Rs 0.25 kg for a period of 5 months.

The Special Commodity Levy is a composite duty on the product and no other tax, import duty, cess etc. is applicable on the said product while the levy is valid.
