In July 2017, the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain grinding media for mills from India. In December 2017, a provisional duty was imposed and a definitive duty was imposed in June 2018. In June 2023, a sunset review was initiated.
