In June 2017, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of high-tenacity polyester yarn from China. A definitive duty was imposed in July 2018. In July 2022, an anti-circumvention investigation was initiated. In September 2022, a sunset review was initiated.
