Kenya: The government eliminates the duties on imported maize, sugar and milk powder

On 16 May 2017, the government of Kenya announced that it had introduced a duty-free importation of maize, sugar and milk powder. This was done with the purpose, of providing the country with an infrastructure to stabilise its distorted local production as a result of the drought.
