September 28th, 2016 - The PRC Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced a version of the 13th Five-Year Plan specifically to promote improvements in the cotton and textile industries. Both financial instruments (grants, tax breaks, credit channels, etc.) and direct supply controls will be used to achieve the goals of the plan. The plan will apply for the length of the national 13th Five-Year Plan Period: 2016-2020.
