Viet Nam: Termination of definitive safeguard duty on imports of certain mineral or chemical fertilisers

In May 2017, the Vietnam Competition Authority initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of certain mineral or chemical fertilisers. In August, a provisional safeguard duty was imposed. In March 2018, definitive duties were imposed. In September 2019, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in March 2020. In January 2022, a new sunset review was initiated. In October 2022, the definitive duty was terminated with the expiry of the safeguard duty in March 2023.
