In June 2009, the Turkish authorities initiated a sunset review of the safeguard measure imposed on imports of unframed glass mirror from Iran. Following the investigation, the safeguard measure has been extended in 2010 and again in 2013. A third sunset review was initiated in 2017 and is still in progress and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2018.
