In April 2017, the Turkish authorities initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of toothbrushes. In February 2018, a safeguard measure was imposed. In June 2020, a review was initiated and the safeguard measure was extended in February 2021. In July 2023, a sunset review was initiated.
