25th April 2017 - China's Ministry of Industry and IT, in tandem with the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Science and Technology, announced in Notice No.53/2017: a new scheme to promote the Chinese auto industry. Every vertical stage of the car production process will be supported, from R&D with government grants, to purchasing with VAT reductions for the consumer.
