In April 2017, the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to initiate an antidumping investigation on imports of certain austenitic stainless steel tubes from Malaysia, Thailand and Viet Nam. In June 2018, a definitive antidumping duty was imposed. In June 2023, a sunset review was initiated.
