In April 2017, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of acrylic fibre from China, Belarus, Ukraine, the European Union and Peru. The investigation was terminated in April 2018 without the imposition of duties.
