Operating under a provision of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 that directed it make payments for specified energy properties, the U.S. Treasury awarded $13,406,400 in subsidies to KIUC Renewable Solutions One LLC for a solar electricity project in the state of Hawaii.
