On February 20, 2017, the Canada Border Services Agency initiated antidumping investigations of certain silicon metal imported from Brazil, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Norway, Russian, and Thailand, and countervailing duty investigations for Brazil, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Norway, and Thailand.
