In February 2017, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of monoisopropylamine (MIPA) originating in or exported from China. In March 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In September 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in December 2022.
