In January 2017, the Commissioner of the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of cooling tower water treatment controllers from the United States of America. The investigation is still in progress. In July 2017, definitive duties were imposed retrospectively from April 2017. In July 2022, the definitive duty was terminated.
