Egypt: The introduction of a Preferential Treatment for Local Products in Government Contract

On 17 January 2015, the government of Egypt adopted Law 5/2015. The newly adopted Law concerns the imposition of a preference for Egyptian products in government contracts.  

The executive regulations of the denoted Law were promulgated on 13 September 2015 via Ministerial Decree No. 656/2015.
