Brazil: Extension of definitive antidumping duty on imports of films, plates, sheets, foils and strips of poly (ethylene terephthalate) from Mexico, Turkiye and the United Arab Emirates

In June 2010, the government of Brazil initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. A sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed in March 2012 was initiated in February 2017. In February 2018, the definitive duty was extended for an additional period of five years. In February 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty on imports from Mexico and the United Arab Emirates was extended for a new period in February 2024. Investigation concerning imports from Turkey is still in progress.
