Since we want globalisation to be better managed for the benefit of all, the Global Trade Alert team has developed new ways to document those policy interventions that affect cross-border commerce. We are committed to democratising access to such information so that more effective policies can be identified through analysis, with the ultimate goal of strengthening the role of international trade as an engine for human development in the decades to come. The release of the first edition of our G20 Trade Policy Factbook is another step towards that goal.
