In March 2024, the Japan Bank for International Cooperation signed a loan agreement with Thai Yazaki Electric Wire Co Ltd, the Thai subsidiary of Yazaki Sogyo, a Japanese automotive parts supplier. The funds are denominated in Thai Baht, and the loan amounts to THB 1 billion (USD 27.31 million). The loan will support aluminum electric wire production facilities.
