In October 2021, SACU initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of laminated safety glass from China. In April 2022, a provisional duty was imposed. In April 2023, a definitive duty was imposed. In June 2024, an anti-circumvention investigation on imports from Malaysia was initiated. In December 2025, the definitive duty was extended to imports from Malaysia following the conclusion of an anti-circumvention investigation.
