In December 2011, the government of Brazil initiated a new anti-dumping investigation. In October 2013, a definitive duty was imposed. The duty was extended to include a larger scope of products concerning imports from China and in part from Ukraine following anti-circumvention investigation concluded in December 2014, August 2015 and January 2016. In October 2018, a sunset review was initiated. In October 2019, definitive duty was extended. In October 2024, a sunset review was initiated. In October 2025, the definitive duty on imports from South Africa was terminated. The definitive duty on imports from China, the Republic of Korea and Ukraine was extended for a new period in September 2025.
