Canada: Definitive antidumping duty of certain heavy plate from Chinese Taipei and Germany (termination of provisional duties on imports from Turkiye and termination of investigation on imports from the Republic of Korea and Malaysia)

In May 2020, the Canadian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain heavy plate from Chinese Taipei, Germany, Turkiye, the Republic of Korea and Malaysia. In October 2020, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Chinese Taipei, Germany and Turkiye, while the investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties on imports from the Republic of Korea and Malaysia. In February 2021, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from Chinese Taipei and Germany, while the investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties on imports from Turkiye. In January 2026, a sunset review was initiated on imports from Chinese Taipei and Germany.
