In October 2012, the government of Turkiye initiated a new safeguard investigation and imposed definitive duties in July 2013. In April 2017, a sunset review was initiated and in July 2017, the duty was extended for a new period. In December 2019, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in June 2020. In December 2022, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2023.
