On 6 January 2017, France notified the European Commission of its intention to provide financial support, in the form of feed-in tariffs, to Eoliennes en Mer Dieppe et Le Tréport's Dieppe Le Tréport wind farm project located in France. On 26 July 2019, the European Commission approved the financial support.
