In December 2009, the government of Brazil initiated a new antidumping investigation on imports of resin and polyvinyl chloride, not mixed with any other substances, obtained in suspension (PVC-S) from the US and Mexico. In December 2010, a definitive duty was imposed. In November 2015, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2016. In September 2021, a new sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in September 2022.
