In April 2010, the European Commission initiated a new anti-dumping investigation and a definitive duty was imposed in August 2011. The definitive duty was extended to imports of the subject good from Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Thailand and Chinese Taipei following an anti-circumvention investigation. The definitive duty was extended for an additional period in November 2017 following the conclusion of a sunset review. In April 2022, a new sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in January 2024.
