Saudi Arabia: Launch of Industrial Participation Policy for procurement of military equipment

In July 2019, the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) issued a Decision to establish the Industrial Participation Policy (IPP). Under the IPP, certain procurement contracts must demonstrate at least 60 per cent of industrial participation in Saudi Arabia.
