In May 2009, the government of Argentina imposed a provisional duty on imports of carbon steel butt welding pipe fittings from China following the conclusion of an antidumping investigation. In October 2009, a definitive duty was imposed. In October 2015, the definitive duty was extended following the conclusion of a sunset review. In June 2018, an anti-circumvention investigation was initiated. In October 2020, a sunset review was initiated.
