In February 2019, The Secretariat General of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of superabsorbent polymer from Chinese Taipei and Japan. The investigation was terminated in November 2019 without the imposition of duties.
