In February 2018, the Indian Directorate General of Antidumping & Allied Duties, Ministry of Commerce and Industry initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of flax yarn from China. In October 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In April 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in October 2023.
