According to the WTO, on 27 May 2016, the Permanent Delegation of Mauritius to the WTO informed the WTO about the inclusion of paper, rolling machines for cigarette manufacturing (effective 17 December 2015), and small size fishing hooks (other than for re-exportation) (effective 26 March 2016), in the list of prohibited items.
