France: National aid to the sugar industry for adaptation at the end of sugar quotas

On 12 December 2016, the European Commission decided not to raise objections against a scheme notified by the French government in March 2016 which aims to help the national sugar industry adapt to the end of sugar quotas. The scheme has a total budget of 114 million EUR for the years 2017-2020.
