In April 2017, the Argentinian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of Phthalic anhydride and Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DOP) from Mexico, the Republic of Korea and Chile. In October 2018, definitive duties were imposed on imports from Mexico. The investigation was terminated without the imposition of duties on imports from Chile and Mexico. In June 2023, the definitive duty was temporarily suspended.
