Description
On 13 August 2008, the government initiated a scheme granting tariff concessions to enumerated least developed countries (LDCs). The list of beneficiaries from the Indian programme has repeatedly been extended since.

On January 27, 2010 the government of Colombia initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of low carbon steel bars and rods.
Venezuela: Cap on gold exports raised
Description
On 11 August 2010, the government of Venezuela raised its cap on gold exports. Registered companies now may export up to 50 percent of their production, selling the other half to the National Bank of Venezuela.
Vietnam: Fifth devaluation of the Dong

On 17 August 2010, the State Bank of Vietnam has devalued the national currency, the Dong, for the fifth time since 2008.
Saudi Arabia: Re-imposition of import tariff on steel

On 1 January 2010, the government of Saudi Arabia has re-imposed an import tariff on steel. From that date, imports of steel are subject to an ad valorem tariff of 5 percent.
Pakistan: Tariff reductions on intermediate products, tariff exemption of energy saver lamps

Brazil: tariff reduction for cellulose ethers and refined copper foil
Description
On June 24th, 2010, the Brazilian government announced tariff reductions on the ad-valorem import duty from 14% to 2% for cellulose ethers and from 12% to 4% for refined copper foil.
Ecuador: Temporary import duty suspension on mineral product machinery
Description
On 17 September 2009, the government of Ecuador suspended import duty collection for machinery used in the shaping or moulding of mineral products.
